Invite your team
Who this is for: the admin who sets up Liitora for a company.
Before you start: you need the Admin role in Liitora.
Liitora works best with at least two people: one who builds workflows (often with an AI assistant) and one who approves them. This page explains the roles, how to invite people, and what each new person does first.
The roles
Section titled “The roles”Each person has one role in your company. The role decides what they can do.
| Role | What they can do |
|---|---|
| Admin | Everything, including approving workflows, showing secret values, API tokens, the audit log and billing. |
| Editor | Builds and runs workflows, manages connections, webhooks and secrets. Can activate a workflow that is approved. Can’t approve, show secret values or manage members. |
| Viewer | Can look at workflows, runs and which secrets exist. Can’t change anything. |
| AI assistant | Builds and tests workflows through MCP. Never approves, and never sees secret values. |
The full list of permissions per role is in Manage users and roles.
Why you need two approvers
Section titled “Why you need two approvers”The person who wrote a version of a workflow can never approve it. This is called separation of duties. It means every workflow is checked by a second pair of eyes before it runs for real.
- When a person writes a version in the app, someone else approves it.
- When an AI assistant uses a person’s API token, that person counts as the author. Someone else approves it.
- Only admins can approve.
So plan for at least two admins, or one admin who reviews what the others build.
Invite people
Section titled “Invite people”- In Settings, select Members.
- Select Invite someone, enter the person’s work email, pick a role and select Send invite.
- They get an email with a link. The link works once and expires in 7 days.
- New people choose their name and a password on the page the link opens, then sign in. People who already have an account with that email sign in first, then accept.
To change someone’s role, pick another role in the list. To take away access, select Remove. A change takes effect on their next click in the app: Liitora checks the role on every request. See Manage users and roles for the details.
